What is included in a Fast Start?
An industry-specific homepage with your hero, services, and a primary call-to-action. A Contact Us page with a working form. An FAQs page pre-filled for your industry. Plus click-to-call and mobile-responsive design, all live within 24 hours of receiving your details. Domain registration and hosting setup is an optional add-on. Fast Start is built for brand-new businesses that need a credible presence today and plan to grow into Starter or Growth later.
Why ranges instead of one fixed number?
Two Growth-tier projects can sit 30% apart in scope. One client wants three forms and a Mailchimp connection. The next wants seven forms, HubSpot integration, and a 12-page service-area expansion. Blue Anchor quotes a final fixed price after a free 30 to 60 minute consult, so you know exactly what you are paying before any work starts. (Fast Start is the exception: a flat, fixed fee with no exceptions.)
Do you bill hourly?
Never. Hourly billing rewards slow work. Every Blue Anchor project is fixed-price, fixed-scope, and fixed-timeline. Care plans are flat monthly. À la carte add-ons are flat. The number you see is the number you pay.
What is included in "Starter" that is not on the à la carte menu?
Anything in the Core Website Features group listed as "Included": responsive design, contact form, click-to-call, Google Maps integration, service pages, FAQ. Blue Anchor does not sell those individually because they are table stakes for any professional site.
Can I start with Starter and upgrade to Growth later?
That is the most common Blue Anchor path. Starter sites are deliberately engineered to grow into Growth without rebuilding from scratch. You only pay the difference plus the new features. Zero throwaway work.
Do I need a Discovery Sprint?
For Starter and Growth, no. The free consult is enough. For a Custom Web App, almost always yes. The sprint turns a fuzzy idea into a fixed scope and a clickable prototype before you commit to the build, and the fee is fully refunded against the build contract. Zero risk discovery.
What are the payment terms?
50% to start, 50% at launch on Starter and Growth. Custom Web Apps run on milestone payments tied to scope (Discovery, Foundation, Build, Launch). All projects via ACH or card. No retainers. No long contracts.
What about hosting?
Hosting is included in every Blue Anchor care plan. We deploy to a global CDN with automatic backups, SSL, and uptime monitoring. If you would rather host yourself, we hand off the entire codebase and you skip the care plan entirely. No hostage hosting.
Do you offer non-profit or startup discounts?
Yes. For 501(c)(3)s and very early-stage pre-revenue startups, Blue Anchor typically offers 15 to 20% off Starter or Growth. Bring it up during the free consult.
